Now non-Danish adoptees can submit their case to the DKRG case

Danish Korean Rights Group (DKRG) has filed a case to the Korean Truth Commission. This happened august 23 2022. You have to be adopted from Holt Childrens Services or Korean Social Services

How do I do it?
Adoptees must formally join the case using a form used by the commission. It is in Korean, but DKRG has translated the form into English and adapted it for adoptees.

Forms have been prepared for this, which must be filled in by as many adoptees as possible, and the forms are submitted together with DKRG's main document.

Be part of a historic case!

It is historic that a case is raised demanding investigation of adoption from South Korea, and this opportunity will not come again, so now is the time for you as an adoptee to act. Your participation means a lot.

So, spend the maximum 15 minutes it takes, and you help support this important case - not only for Danish adoptees, but for adoptees all over the world.

It matters to the Commission how many forms come in, so there is an appeal to all of you to help fill out and submit one of the two forms and spread it further in your network to other adoptees from South Korea.

Form 1 - for adoptees who have bad experiences or incorrect information
Form 1 is for adoptees who have experienced things in connection with searching for adoption information or with information from biological parents. It can, for example, be:
- Your biological parents can tell a different story than the adoption agency

- You have a different date of birth than that which appears on your adoption papers

- You were born in a different city than the one that appears on your adoption papers

- You are not the person than the one stated in your adoption papers

- You have not been to the orphanage that appears in your papers

- You have found your biological parents, but it says in your adoption papers that you were an orphan

- and much, much more.
- all kinds of indentity fraud

You can submit you own descriptions also along with your case. Write a few lines in your own words.
